With the New England Patriots gearing up to play in the AFC Championship this weekend, their former player Aaron Hernandez continues to face mounting trouble with the law. As you probably remember, Hernandez is facing a murder charge for the death of his associate and friend Odin Lloyd. Today, things got even worse for Hernandez when a warrant was released that revealed that police think Hernandez was the shooter in a drive-by-shooting in 2012 in which two people were murdered. Details are still fuzzy with both murder investigations, as it is not even known if police have found murder weapons in either case.
At the present, Hernandez has yet to be charged in the 2012 murder, as he waits to be tried for the murder of Odin Lloyd. It is not yet known when Hernandez’s trial will get under way, but we can guarantee that it will be an all-out media spectacle when it does. Stay tuned for more details as the story develops.
