DeMarco Murray, RB
The Dallas Cowboys could’ve very well gone to the Super Bowl this year, largely because of the tremendous play of DeMarco Murray. He led all running backs in yards (rushed for over 1,800 yards on the season) and proved himself as a home-run hitter from the backfield.
To be frank, the Cowboys simply are a notably worse offense without DeMarco. It’s been awhile since they’ve had a runner than can impact games like Murray does, and that’s something they must hold on to. That being said, they’ll likely be faced with the unfortunate task of having to decide between retaining Murray or fellow playmaker Dez Bryant. If you ask us, we’re choosing Murray every time—but do the Cowboys feel the same? We will see, but it will be interesting to see who bites on the reigning Offensive Player of the Year.
Watch out for RB-needy teams like the Rams and Jaguars to make a move on the Pro Bowler if Dallas opts not to.
