Baraka-Etology: The President’s Picks
We are one day away from the start of March Madness and the NCAA Tournament, as every sports fan is out there scrambling to fill out their brackets before the action kicks off. President Obama is no different than the rest of us, joining in on the Tournament Challenge fun and making his picks for who is going to win the national title this year with ESPN.
Barack has Kentucky going 40-0 to the finish line, much like many expect this year, but he is predicting some upsets along the way.
The President is counting on Davidson to make it to the Sweet 16 and Gonzaga getting an early exit, as well as Texas, Wyoming and Buffalo getting wins over higher ranked opponents on opening weekend.
As far as the Final Four, Obama has picked Kentucky, Villanova, Arizona and Duke as the clear favorites, with ‘Nova making it to the title game and getting knocked off by the undefeated powerhouse Wildcats coached by John Calipari. You know, Drake’s team.
