Not long after the confirmation of Danny Welbeck’s departure, Man Utd have finally announced the signing of Radamel Falcao from Monaco. The Colombian star has signed a one-year loan deal with Van Gaal’s side, with an option to buy at the end of the period. Falcao’s goals per game ratio has made him one of the most exciting strikers in recent history, scoring 13 goals in 22 games at Monaco, 70 goals in 91 games at Atletico Madrid and 72 goals in 87 games at Porto, with several honors to his name. Despite no European competition this season, the player joins a list of new signings that includes Di Maria, Herrera, Shaw, Rojo, Blind and Milinkovic.
