Randall Cobb Re-Signs With The Green Back Packers

Aaron Rodgers keeps one of his main targets

Randall Cobb probably had some temptation in free agency, but he will not be leaving the Green Bay Packers next season. The coveted slot receiver was gaining big interest from teams like the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars, but has opted against testing the market. Instead, he will be catching balls from Aaron Rodgers again and cashing checks on the new four-year, $40 million deal he’s going to ink with his team.

In 2014, Cobb had a career-year in touchdowns, receiving yards and catches in Green Bay, becoming part of the first wide receiving tandem (with Jordy Nelson) in NFL history to have over 1200 yards and 90 catches in one season.

That high flying Packers offense isn’t going in anywhere next year.
