Mr. Lewis gives his take on the moment
Earlier this week, multiple teams, coaches and an owner joined Colin Kaepernick’s cause, to bring attention of police brutality to the masses. While Kaep still remains unemployed, it’s now okay for players to peacefully protest, according to the NFL. One eye-raising moment over the weekend many noticed, was Ray Lewis partaking in the movement. This soon caused outrage from both sides of people in disagreement of the protest, as Ray wanted to clear the air on Inside the NFL last night.
Mr. Lewis went to save himself a job explain the action, saying he actually wasn’t taking a knee – but instead, praying with players. Beforehand, he was one of the main critics of Colin peacefully protesting the killings of unarmed black people in the states and took a stance on his belief.
