Are the 49ers making respectable strides?
Like last year, the San Francisco 49ers are having another unforgettable off-season. Starting with the firing of Jim Harbaugh only hours after their season ended, San Francisco has also lost Frank Gore, Chris Culliver, Patrick Willis, Mike lupati – as well as imminent departures of both Michael Crabtree and Perrish Cox.
As an immediate follow-up to signing Torrey Smith last week, San Francisco hit the open free agent market to sign former Heisman trophy winner Reggie Bush. The 30-year-old USC running-back now joins Carlos Hyde and Kendall Hunter in the backfield to provide some much-needed relief to Colin Kaepernick, who led the team in rushing last year. During the 2014 and final season with the Detroit Lions, Bush saw a career low in yards nearing 300 but is looking to rejuvenate his career with Jim Tomsula and the rest of the new coaching staff of the 49ers.
The best is yet to come #49ers
