NFL’s 2012 Rookie Of The Year and league “golden boy”, Robert Griffin will be having his first one-hour documentary aired “RGIII: The Will To Win.” The Gatorade Productions, NFL Films and ESPN project is scheduled to air August 27th on ESPN at 7pm ET; and will take a look at the personal life of Griffin, as well as his magical years at Baylor and last season leading the Redskins to the playoffs.
RG3 is fresh off LCL and ACL surgery earlier this year, which he’s been rehabbing to return to the field for his team’s first game at home against division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Last season, Washington won the NFC East with the NY Giants, Dallas Cowboys and Eagles all missing the playoffs due to the heroics and consistency of RG3.
In the clips after the jump, we’re previewed to the new documentary which show is parents discussing his childhood along with past coaches and closest peers chiming in their admiration for his road to the NFL and beyond.
