Damn, son. WHAT HAPPENED!
Another game, another blown 4th quarter lead.
The Carolina Panthers went into today’s grudgematch with the Seattle Seahawks undefeated and with everyone talking about how the Legion of Boom was Cam Newton‘s kryptonite. Could it be the case again? Not on this Sunday because he came through in the clutch.
With less than a minute to go in the 4th quarter, Cam exploited miscommunication the defense and found Greg Olsen wide open on streak to the end zone. Olsen got behind Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman thought he was covered, but the two are left wondering what the hell happened on the play afterward, when it was already too late and the 26-yard touchdown was scored.
The Sehawks now fall to 2-4 and need a desperate win next week in San Francisco to have any hope of playing a Wild Card game. The Panthers remain undefeated at 5-0.
