It’s no secret: Andrew Wiggins has a chip on his shoulder after being traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Minnesota Timberwolves this off-season. But with plenty of moves made from the Wolves’ side of things (they brought in Anthony Bennett, Thaddeous Young, etc), the young squad is poised to make a splash this upcoming season.
Last night in a pre-season game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Ricky Rubio took it coast coast and ended the play with an alley oop to the #1 pick in the draft. He soared over untouched behind the Sixers defense for the two-hand slam.
Get used to seeing this because it’s going to happen a lot moving forward.
