The Broncos are planning to beat the Patriots at their own game
We have to admit, there’s been a lack of excitement on our end from potentially the final #ManningBrady Bowl. However, the last 24 hours has provided some very entertaining build-up to this weekend’s AFC Championship Game with the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.
It all started Monday when Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall was asked on NBC Sports about the play of Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski, saying “He only gets open because he pushes off.”
Well, fellow lineman Malik Jackson soon added on at ProFootballTalk Live saying “Tom Brady is a whiner and someone who throws temper tantrums.” Well, Gronk, who normally handles the team’s beef, responded to a fan questioning about the Broncos aiming for his knees again.
Rob simply gave a hilarious answer saying, “Heard their whole team is good at giving low blows,” – with a sarcastic smiley face tongue and a football next to it to save face. Surprisingly, the Broncos have been quiet since last night and don’t want to add any motivation to their fragile opponents.
The AFC Championship Game goes down this Sunday at 3:05pm ET on CBS.
