ESPN’s “Sunday Conversation” series this week features Washington Redskins captain, Robert Griffin III. In the interview above, RG3 sits down with Hannah Storm to discuss his recovery process from the last season’s horrific ALC and MCL tear as well as communication with head coach Mike Shanahan.
He opened up with discussing Shanahan’s game-day preparations on dealing with offense, defense, substitutions and other areas of helping the team. RG3 says he trusts Shanahan and has to take the initiative to make sure they’re on the same page every game day to have a successful tenure together.
Things then transition to touching on his injury, which was devastating to him having a major injury in his rookie season, after seeing some at Baylor in the past.
