Russell Westbrook Believes Zaza Pachulia Tried to Injure Him

Last night’s Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors game was very high tension and physical. It almost felt like a playoff game, even though we’re not in the postseason yet. These two teams are more than likely to see each other then, though. These matches are just a preview.

From Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony getting in a bit of match of words, to Russell Westbrook not appreciating Nick Young celebrating a three in front of their bench, that was just one of a few incidents that happened int he game.

Another incident that happened involved Zaza Pachulia, who fell on Westbrook’s leg after a scramble for a rebound when he drove to the basket on a play. Immediately, Russ could be seen clutching his leg in some discomfort.

Westbrook went off on reporters asking him about the play after the game:

“But why you asking about something you didn’t see? Well then if you didn’t see it, don’t ask me a question. Don’t ask me dumb questions, man. Obviously, it was intentional. So don’t ask me if it was intentional. Nobody touched him, he fell on my leg, tried to hurt me. But hey, that’s how it goes.”

You can clearly see on the replay that Zaza did not have to fall on Westbrook when he was standing upright and the play was over.

If you don’t believe Pachulia is a dirty player, go ask Kawhi Leonard.
