Westbrook sending a warning shot for 2017
Last night, the Detroit Pistons scored a major 88-82 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, to improve their chances of making the post-season. Reggie Jackson, who’s now with the Pistons, forced his way out of Oklahoma City last season – after citing issues with not being able to run point guard, as well as pay. Jackson had a moderate 13 points on 4-15 shooting; but in the closing minutes of securing Detroit’s win, he celebrated after splitting a double-team trap of Russell Westbrook and Enes Kanter. Following the game, Westbrook addressed why he felt his former teammate may have done a little too much celebrating, sending a warning shot for next season.
Take a look at The Westwolf expressing his frustration above and let us know in the comments whether or not Reggie should sit out their next meeting. It would be nice if Adam Silver took a note to give this rematch national TV treatment for the 2017 season.
