It doesn’t surprise us that every time Russell Westbrook goes to the hoop, he’s trying to annihilate everything in sight. This is exactly what he did in Detroit against the Pistons to start the game.
With the clear lane to the basket open, Russ saw the opening and went for it.
If you peep the replay, Marcus Morris sees what is about to happen and casually steps out of the way to let Westbrook thunder it down. He wanted no parts in that posterization. The ball ended up the victim as well, being sent into outer space after the slam.
Russ ended the game with 33 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists on the night but OKC still lost.
