Russell Westbrook Hammers Down Put Back Slam Against Nuggets

Russell Westbrook has been an absolute human highlight reel since the start of the season and although we’re already a week into the NBA, people are already putting him in the MVP conversation.

On Sunday night against the Denver Nuggets, Westbrook had another top play, with a crazy put back slam over three Nuggets defenders. Steven Adams missed a fade away with the shot clock running down, but Russ was there to clean up the mess over Danilo Gallinari and Emmanuel Mudiay. Even Kenneth Faried was in the area but none of the boxed out or saw him coming.

Westbrook ended the game close to a triple double, getting 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists on the night. The Oklahoma City Thunder remain undefeated this season.
