Russell Westbrook Now Has 9 Triple Doubles On the Season

HE IS A MACHINE

No Kevin Durant? No problem. Russell Westbrook continues carrying the Oklahoma City Thunder on his back while stacking up the triple doubles for the season.

As much as Westbrook is tearing it up on the offensive end, with the double digits assists, that means he’s also getting his teammates involved, as well as bringing down rebounds whether it be on the offensive or defensive end. The guy is on a run like no other right now.

On Friday night against the visiting Atlanta Hawks, the Thunder still showed out thanks to Russ’ effort. Not to mention the three pointers that Anthony Morrow was raining down (he had six for the game). Mind you, this is a game that OKC played against an Eastern Conference powerhouse without the help of Durant, Serge Ibaka or Enes Kanter.

Don’t be surprised if we see Westbrook with a couple more triple doubles before the season is over. He had 36 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists on this night.

FINAL: OKC 123 | ATL 115
