Russell Westbrook & Victor Oladipo Hit Crazy 3-Pointers To End Regulation

Wild finish in Orlando

At one point in the game, the Orlando Magic led the Oklahoma City Thunder by 18 and it looked like they would cruise to a win at home. That was until the 4th quarter came and OKC turned on the level to another notch and came thundering back.

In the final minute, it was Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant hitting shots to bring them to a tied ball game, but the suspense wasn’t over. With 10 seconds to go, the Magic were holding for the last shot to end regulation and Victor Oladipo hit a clutch three to put Orlando up 117-114. With no timeouts left, Westbrook brought the ball up the court as time expired and threw up a prayed from damn near half court to tie the game and send it into overtime.

In overtime, Russ kept attacking to try to pull the Thunder away from the Magic, but they kept crawling back. With four seconds left in the first overtime, Orlando scrambled to get a shot off and Oladipo ended up with the ball and took a buzzer shot from the corner and it went in.

The game went into double OT.

By the second overtime, Oklahoma City did just enough to win the game and remain undefeated to start the season. Westbrook ended the game with 48 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Durantula ended with 43 points and 12 rebounds of his own.

With their display tonight, KD and RW became the first tandem in NBA history to score more than 40 points in multiple games.
