Last year, while the Oklahoma City Thunder were frantically trying to land a playoff spot in April, Russell Westbrook went on one of the most historic runs the basketball run has ever seen. The co-captain of OKC went on a lengthy triple-double stretch of becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to record four consecutive triple doubles. With Kevin Durant out of action, Westbrook admitted to even chasing the record and motivating his teammates in the process out west but came up just short.
