The Winter Olympics are officially underway, and it seems just about everyone was watching the Opening Ceremony last night. The host country, Russia, put on one hell of a show to kick off the Winter games, that featured a ton of fireworks and weird skits that were so awkward, it was hilarious. The set that stole the show was the Russian Police Choir, who sang a hysterical cover of Daft Punk & Pharrell‘s smash hit “Get Lucky.”
On first watch we can’t tell what the funniest part of the video is, because we were in amazement during the entire performance. You have to give a ton of credit to the guy on the left for bringing out all the swag and energy to the set. He was pulling out Michael Jackson-esque thrusts and epic spin moves, while the rest of his comrades held down the background vocals and stood there confused. We never thought we would see the day that Russian police officers used rap hands, but it has happened. Unfortunately for the Winter Olympics, we’re not sure they can top this epic performance.
Watch the video after the jump.
