One of the biggest technological advances in the last 12 months has been exclusive to a select few in their explorer program for beta purposes. David Stern and the National Basketball Association are always striving to give fans the most up close and personal experiences; and will make that happen on January 24th when he Sacramento Kings host the Indiana Pacers.
We’ve always had a perspective of the game from watching on TV or from a close in the stands; but now we’ll be able to see perspectives from coaches, cheerleaders and even broadcasters. CrowdOptic will be the team behind the project, in a first attempt to bringing Google Glass to professional sports.
Check after the jump for a preview of the project demonstrating the technology on select players and look for the Google Glass to go live with the NBA next Friday.
