A SHOCKER IN SEATTLE!
After releasing tight end Zach Miller last week, the Seattle Seahawks were in the market for a replacement, but who knew it would have been for All-Pro monster Jimmy Graham? The ‘Hawks and New Orleans Saints have reached a deal that would send Graham to Seattle in exchange for a first round pick and Pro Bowl center Max Unger.
Graham has amassed a total of 4,752 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns in his career, being the number one target in New Orleans and the best tight end in the history of the franchise.
The Seahawks had a clear need at tight end, after lacking at that position for much of last season. Russell Wilson is not much of a passer as it is, but this should open the doors for a better areal attack. It will surely increase their chances of making it back to the Super Bowl for a third year in a row if all goes well.
