Sam Dekker was a beast in college at Wisconsin. his transition to the NBA hasn’t been so stellar, but he’s finally getting playing time as a member of the Houston Rockets.
Unfortunately, things like this happened to him to start the season.
On a routine fast break after getting coming up with a good defensive play against the New York Knicks, the forward took the ball up the court, tripped over his own feet and fell before he had any chance to score. Worst of all, the ball hit him in the face as he came down.
This won’t derail his career or anything, but it was funny to watch.
Dekker finished with 5 points in 19 minutes and the Rockets went on to beat the Knicks thanks to another double double by James Harden (30 points and monster 15 assists).
