Not only is Russell Wilson possibly the most popular guy in Seattle these days, but apparently Major League Baseball has love for him too. Today during the MLB “Rule 5” draft, the Texas Rangers drafted Wilson, taking him away from the Colorado Rockies. Why do you ask? Well, before Russell got into the NFL and became a star, he was sought after by many teams for a baseball career and was drafted twice before this.
Now why in the hell would Texas do this? In their eyes, if Russell ever walks away from the NFL, he would be a very valuable asset for their team. With the way the NFL is going for Wilson right now, we highly doubt he considered leaving anytime soon.
