Rap icon, Snoop Lion was recent guess for Jim Rome on SHOWTIME talk show some sports. Things opened up with discussing his recent bet on the big Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez fight that went down a few weeks ago. Jim Rome asked the background behind the bet of a large bag of marijuana; as Snoop went on to to talk details about how his friend scammed him out of a full pound after the fight shaving some of the product.
Rome (and the crowd) very anxious to get back to the stash, transitioned the conversation to Lakers talk. Snoop, one of the biggie purple and gold fans in the world, went on to vent about the current constructed ownership of the team after Dr. Buss passed away. With Magic and Shaq both having sporting ventures outside of the Lakers, Snoop essentially spoke for them questioning the hiring process of Mike D’Antoni. After discussing how D’Antoni’s philosophy doesn’t work with the current Lakers team, he citing that Jeanie Buss should’ve been chosen for her dad’s successor instead of Jim Buss.
