Don’t let the door kick you on the way out, Born Ready
Tensions were high in Lance Stephenson‘s return to Indiana after leaving the team in free agency this past offseason. Before the game, he was assuming the crowd would boo him, but the Pacers did him one better — by winning the game.
It was a close match up until the final seconds, when Rodney Stuckey airballed a jumper and was saved by a Solomon Hill put-back at the buzzer to give the Pacers an 88-86 win against the Hornets.
Born Ready only had 10 points and 7 assists in his big return, while Al Jefferson led all scorers with 28. Roy Hibbert carried the load for Indiana, ending the game with 18 points.
Charlotte now drops to 4-8 on the season, and Indiana moves up to 5-7.
