We’re almost there! It is officially the stretch run in Fantasy Football, as the playoffs are so close you can taste them. Before you reach the promise land, many of you most likely need a win or two to clinch a spot. Figuring out who to start and sit is as important as ever with bye week issues and injuries mounting and no more trades in effect. Luckily we are here to help you out with some ideas of who to plug into your lineup and who to take out!
OS REWIND: Fantasy Football News & Notes (Week 11 Recap)
Start ‘Em
- Carson Palmer – Carson has been on fire lately and has the Cardinals as one of the more surprising teams in the NFL. If you’re looking for a potential big game from a QB then Palmer might just be the move.
- Chris Ivory – Ivory is now the man in the Jets backfield and has been getting plenty of carries lately. Look for that work load to actually increase in the coming weeks and Ivory to be a top back in New York.
- Andre Brown – Any RB going against the Cowboys defense without Sean Lee should eat for the rest of the season. Throw in the fact that Andre Brown has tore it up the past 2 weeks and we are looking at a monster game on deck.
- Kendall Wright – We love Kendall Wright this week for the Titans. He seems to be the favorite target of Ryan Fitzpatrick, so look for his targets to be through the roof.
- Eli Manning – If you didn’t figure it out by now, but we really love the Giants against the Cowboys defense this weekend. Look for Eli and crew to tear it up at home in a must win game.
Sit ‘Em
- Donald Brown – We know Brown broke out last week, but we don’t like him this week against the Cardinals. They have a very good defensive line and will key in on shutting down Indy’s run game.
- Bobby Rainey – Ultimate bust alert with Rainey this week as he goes against a Detroit team that can shut down the run. The Lions also could get up early, which will leave the Bucs abandoning the run.
- Mike Wallace – Wallace continues to struggle to get catches in Miami and is a high risk to play against the very good Panthers defense.
- Santonio Holmes – Santonio is back on the field and that is a great and all, but until he becomes a constant threat again we don’t advise him being in your starting lineup.
- Tim Wright – After breaking out earlier this year Wright has considerably slowed down the past 2 weeks. If you have another TE option then we advise you to go with that.
