Can you believe it’s already week five of the NFL season? We can’t either, but like every week, we have got you covered on everything you need to know heading into your Fantasy Football match-up. This is the time of the season when your bench becomes a vital part of your roster, with teams now having bye weeks and injuries mounting up. So before you make any final decision on your lineups for this week, check this out and either love us or hate us come Monday morning.
Players To Start
- Danny Amendola – All indications out of New England are that Amendola is ready to go. Throw him in as a starter because Tom Brady will be looking for him early and often. He might prove to be a good FLEX.
- David Wilson – It has been a rough road for Wilson and the Giants, but going up against the Eagles defense this week should prove to be good for everyone.
- Phillip Rivers – There is absolutely no reason not to play Rivers moving forward. That Chargers offense has looked explosive for most of the season and Rivers has been slinging that football.
- Roddy White – For the first time season, we are finally going to see the Roddy White we have come to know for the past couple of seasons. That ankle looks to be healed up and he will be primed to have a big game against that beat up Jets secondary.
- Eddy Lacy – Remember this guy Packers fans? Of course you do and if you have him on your fantasy team this is the week to play him. Coming off the bye week to get healthy and playing a Lions team that is weak against the run, equals a big day for Lacy.
Players To Sit
- Russell Wilson – This is not the week to start Wilson at QB vs the Colts. They are pretty good against the pass and will have pressure on him the whole time.
- Ryan Matthews – Over the past couple of years, has there been a more frustrating Fantasy Football player than Matthews? Now with Danny Woodhead getting looks, it is just too risky to have him in your lineup.
- Mike Wallace – Things haven’t worked out in Miami for Wallace like he must have thought and even though they have won some games, he still hasn’t had the elite role that his huge contract would have suggested.
- Joique Bell – Heading into this season experts were very high on Bell, but Reggie Bush has been on his A game and the touches just haven’t been there. Until that changes Bell is not a safe play.
- Dwayne Bowe – Sometimes a winning team doesn’t always mean good fantasy points for their players. Bowe is the perfect example of that. Alex Smith just has too many options and Bowe is getting the majority of the attention from the defense.
