Week 6 of the NFL season is underway and with the weekend approaching, we once again got you guys covered on all things Fantasy Football. While four teams have bye weeks every week in the NFL now, it becomes even more imperative to look closely at the match ups and determine who is the best player to start at each position.

Injuries are also becoming a pain for people, as just this week we learned that Julio Jones will miss the entire rest of the year. Situations like Julio’s will have you second guessing for hours on who to start as a replacement; but don’t worry, because we got you.

Hit the jump and view our week 6 notes for fantasy football!

Players To Start

  1. Terrell Pryor – Oakland may be onto something with Pryor and he’s been one of the more impressive QB’s this year. If you’re having a QB controversy on your team then go with Pryor because you won’t be disappointed.
  2. Le’Veon Bell – The Steelers have a tough test this weekend heading to New York to take on the Jets, but expect a huge game out of Bell. He will soon be a full force in this league coming out of the backfield in Pittsburgh.
  3. Danny Woodhead – He is the man in San Diego until further notice. Ryan Matthews is hurt yet again, so look with Danny to get all the looks this week.
  4. Justin Blackmon – Coming off of his 4 game suspension last week Blackmon showed out with a TD on his first catch of the game. Look for more of the same heading forward.
  5. Danny Amendola – Last week, Amendola got his feet wet in his first game back from injury. Look for him to have more of a role this week especially with Gronk being questionable yet again.

Players To Sit

  1. Maurice Jones Drew – It has been a struggle for MJD so far this year and that will be a constant trend moving forward. He will have to have a good game before we would recommend putting him in the starting lineup.
  2. Matt Schaub – Schaub had another dismal game last week and he may not be playing much longer if he keeps this up. Until he gets back to a decent form then you can’t have him in there.
  3. Geno Smith – We want to be all on the Geno Smith train too but until he gets some consistency, we can’t be all in just yet. This could all change three weeks from now though.
  4. Julian Edelman – With Amendola officially back that likely means Edelman’s production will go down. We could be wrong, but his stats have proven it lately.
  5. Chris Johnson – We know CJ has elite talent and can do amazing things on the field, but until he gets back on track, you might want to look at other options.
