Is this the start of #HeadsetGate?
Thursday night marked the official start of the 2015 NFL season. The asylum of the former Roger Goodell dictatorship has been taken over by the inmates, as the New England Patriots celebrated their Super Bowl Victory raising their banner. Their opponents, the Pittsburgh Steelers were limited in players, as both Martavis Bryant and Le’Veon Bell had to miss action for the inaugural week with Ben Roethlisberger receiving added pressure to lead the squad.
However, according to Mike Tomlin, the team endured headset and connection issue throughout most of the first-half, which they could only hear the Patriots radio broadcast. This interfered with play calling and communication from the coaching staff, as it showed for the better part of the first two quarters. Watch Tomlin voice his displeasure with his experience at Gillette Stadium saying this wasn’t the first time that his Steelers have had this issue and felt it was blatant cheating.
Let us know in the comments if you think Mike’s claims are legit against the New England staff.
