It has been a while since we’ve seen Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have fun like this on the court. It’s a joy to watch, unless your team is playing against the 3-point launching bastards that hardly miss from the field.
Tonight, it was the Washington Wizards who were the victim and they could do absolutely nothing to stop the barrage of shots from downtown from Chef Curry.
The man had 51 points in three quarters (he sat in the fourth), including 11 3’s during his time on the floor. This made him 5th on the all-time 3-pointers made list in NBA history, passing up Jamal Crawford, who previously held the record.
Curry was shooting them off screens, in transition, with contact, at random, off set-plays. It was insane. Everything he put up was going in.
DeMarcus Cousins couldn’t believe what was going on from the bench at one point.
Just look at the goddamn score at the end of the game. Dub Nation put up one hundred and forty four points in regulation and Steph didn’t even play the last quarter. Sheesh. Talk about deflating another team on the road.
