The Knicks season is turning more into a soap opera than anything else, right? From rumors of players fighting in the locker room, to the owner having beef with the team dancers, all topped off with the team struggling on the court. The latest piece of info to float around on the rumor mill comes from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, who has proclaimed that his sources are telling him Carmelo Anthony is on the way out of New York. Smith then went on to say that Carmelo must be traded before the all-star break.
No exact word on how legit these “sources” are, but if the Knicks do decide to blow up this season, trading Melo might just be the way to go. They might as well get something for him rather than letting him walk in the off-season and get nothing in return. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming months.
