Warriors ready to take next step with new system
Last season, the Golden St. Warriors dealt with internal problems surrounding front office management and former head coach Mark Jackson. In a sit-down with network anchor and host Sage Steele, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson took time away from the court to open on the firing of their former coach for the first time ever.
The team saw rumors swirling around them on the heels of their game 7 meeting against the Los Angeles Clippers – which was nearly a biggest distraction than their opponents dealing with Donald Sterling.
While Curry declined to recruit Kevin Love over the summer at the cost of his splash brother Thompson, he felt comfortable with the team they have now – especially since Steve Kerr caters to their game style of long range shooting. With San Antonio and Los Angeles upgrading their rosters during the off-season, the best shooting back court of all time discusses their season aspirations in the interview above.
