Could Curry really score 100 points, though?
Stephen Curry is enjoying something very few players in the NBA ever obtain, and that’s success after winning an NBA Championship and regular season MVP awardin the same year. Since hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy last June, the Golden State Warriors are undefeated for the 2016s season, as Curry is leading the league among all scorers with 33.4 points-per-game.
In a recent sit-down with Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, Steph touched on what it would take for him to break Wilt Chamberlain’s single game scoring record of 100 points. While Curry remained adamant on challenging the record, he did say that 80 points in a regulation game was more realistic, which we’re sure the Black Mamba will be watching closely once the inevitable happens.
