Steve Austin Teases “WrestleMania 32” Match Against Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman

Watch a clip from the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast

Yesterday, following Monday Night RAW, Steve Austin reunited with Paul Heyman for an hour sit-down interview on the WWE Network. While Stone Cold initially wanted to focus the conversation on his long-time friend, E. Dagerously just couldn’t sit back and miss out on a rare occasion on live TV with Stone Cold.

From breaking down how wrestlers need to improve on promos, the infamous plane ride from hell in 2009 with Vince McMahon, friendship with CM Punk and a few stories from the business – the conversation would take a surprising end on its sign off. Heyman’s right-hand man, Brock Lesnar, who’s a few months removed from signing a life-time deal with WWE, is nearing his return for SummerSlam in two months and Paul wanted to set up a dream match with his former protégé at next year’s WrestleMania.

Coincidentally, the event happens to be in Austin’s home state of Texas, as he teased a potential retirement match against the former UFC Heavyweight Champion for 2016 showdown. Watch the excerpt clip above.
