Terrell Owens finally makes his return to the NFL after a 1-year hiatus.
Sunday evening, the Seattle Seahawks announced they were holding tryouts Monday morning and sent out an invitation none other than Terrell Owens. T.O. impressed all viewers (and coaches) at the workout today running a 4.45 in the forty-yard dash. This prompted the Seahawks to waste no time, literally, signing the free agent veteran to a 1-Year/$925,000 Deal.
Owens last played in the 2010 season for the Cincinnati Bengals where he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and 9 touchdowns. During the 2011 off-season, Owens suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament which required surgery. Upon finishing rehab and being to cleared to play in October of last year, the 38 year old held a televised workout but no NFL teams attended with questions about his behavior and injury being the reasons.
The Seahawks who recently released wide-outs Antonio Bryant and Mike Williams, also signed veteran Braylon Edwards last Tuesday.
