This is most likely some footage that OJ Mayo never wanted to see the light of day, but luckily for us it surfaced! Back in 2006, Michael Jordan and OJ Mayo were matched up against each other in a pickup basketball game, and to put it nicely, OJ didn’t really stand a chance. The 43-year-old MJ was giving OJ all kinds of work and even threw in some fadeaway jumpers for good measure.
This video comes at a pretty relevant time, seeing how earlier this week MJ said in his 2K sports interview, that he thinks Kobe Bryant is the only NBA player that could have beat him in his prime. After seeing this video we know that even well past his prime, OJ Mayo didn’t stand a chance.
Watch the footage after the jump.
