NFL Regular Season Ends With Best Sunday Of The Year, As Wildcard Weekend Begins January 4th.
Those of you who have been watching the last weekend of NFL regular season action in 2013, should still have a pigskin-high at the current moment. Kyle Orton and the Dallas Cowboys closed out the season in controversial fashion, suffering an interception in the final possession of their winner-take-all NFC East title finale against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The San Diego Chargers squeaked into the postseason earlier today, through an overtime victory over the Kansas City Chiefs reserves. The Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens weren’t so lucky, as both suffered season-ending losses; with Pittsburgh almost surprising all before a Chiefs missed FG. Aaron Rodgers returned to the Packers (showing signs of early rust), and managed to get his team past the Bears in a tough NFC North game.
Many coaches will lose their jobs later this morning for Black Monday, while some managed to save themselves winning a game on Sunday. NFL Wildcard weekend officially begins in 6 days and will feature some surprisingly great match-ups, while the two elite teams from each conference rest up.
