SPLASH and the KING

The end-of-year awards have been rolling out the past week or so, with plenty of players getting their recognition for the hard work they put in throughout the year.

One of the most prestigious of those awards is making the NBA All-First team. This year should be no surprise to anyone, with Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry and Cleveland Cavaliers king LeBron James getting unanimous votes. Joining them to round out the rest of the first-team honors is Houston Rockets beard James Harden, New Orleans Pelicans’ monster Anthony Davis and Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol.

In the mix for the All-NBA second team is Russell Westbrook, LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Paul, Pau Gasol and Demarcus Cousins.

To finish things off, the All-NBA third team sees the likes of Blake Griffin, Tim Duncan, Klay Thompson, DeAndre Jordan and Kyrie Irving.

Is there anyone else you think got snubbed from either the first, second or third team that should be on the list? The Clippers got mad love, meanwhile nobody on the Hawks or Wizards made the cut. We’re surprised to see Pau Gasol on the second team as well.
