Kyle Lowry
At 28, Kyle Lowry had arguably his best season to date becoming one of the top 10 point guards in the league to average 17 points a game and 7 assist for the Toronto Raptors. While the team is on the come up with fellow rising young talent DeMar DeRozan and Terrence Ross, they’re still missing some key components to take the next steps, as Kyle enters his prime years.
Over the past few years, he’s been heavily linked to both the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks as the point guard both franchise are in need for. The Knicks situation looks viable if Carmelo decides to stay with Phil Jackson in charge versus a questionable Los Angeles team that’s still missing a head coach.
Over the last few weeks, however, Lowry has been linked awkwardly enough to Miami Heat, with both sides showing extremely high interest of each other. We’re not sure Lowry is willing to turn down the money another bigger market has to offer, but he’s definitely thinking about pairing up with Miami’s big 3 and will be a dark horse for any team to acquire a now-ready guard to run an offense and score when needed.
