Eric Bledsoe
Following their 2013 trade last summer, the Phoenix Suns struck gold with landing Eric Bledsoe from the Los Angeles Clippers. Prior to his Phoenix arrival, Bledsoe saw his minutes drastically decrease with the arrival of Chris Paul in Los Angeles and made his way out of Lob City in the off-season. Now a restricted free agent for the first time, many owners and GM’s will definitely try to call Phoenix on their bluff of maxing any maximum contract offer that’s thrown towards Bledsoe’s way.
With Goran Dragic running the show on the floor for Phoenix, this has allowed Eric’s game to flourish in becoming a pure scorer he was often criticized for. There’s no other backcourt tandem in the league we see at the present, that has more cohesiveness and chemistry than Bledsoe and Dragic. Adding a few pieces to the team could essentially make them into a legitimate contender in a few more seasons. Re-signing Bledsoe is the team’s top priority.
