A veteran defender is something all teams in the NBA want for a seasoned high IQ player. That’s exactly what Thabo Sefolosha has brought to the table over years. He had a flat season last playoffs with the Oklahoma City Thunder and even lost his starting role to Reggie Jackson, then was limited in bench play with the emergence from Jeremy Lamb. That hindered him from auditioning during the postseason for many potential suitors.
Given his past league history, Sefolosha should find a team with no problem. Speaking of which, he will have one garnering the type of money he would’ve previously gotten prior to this season. His free agent stock has dropped some, most likely leading to him being underpaid.
