After going 83-40 in two seasons with the team, the Cleveland Cavaliers have parted ways with head coach David Blatt.
Blatt started the season on top of the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record, but were beaten by the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors (who blew them out by 34 this past week). The Cavs are fresh off an NBA Finals appearance last year in Blatt’s first year as coach.
Top assistant Tyronne Lue has been promoted to take over as head coach, signing a multi-million dollar deal with the team.
