welcome to the new regime in Denver
Only one week after parting ways with John Fox, John Elway and the Denver Broncos have found their head coach of the future. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will be the next coach who will lead the team. After losing to the New England Patriots last week, Kubiak stressed he was not leaving Baltimore, but that was until the position opened up in Denver.
Gary has big shoes to fill, taking over for Fox, who is one of the most winningest coaches to leave a team after winning 12 games the previous season. He has very close ties with Elway, serving as backup to him back when they both played for the Broncos.
According to reports, Kubiak’s deal will be for four years and he will be bringing quarterback coach and tight ends coach from Baltimore.
