Mauro Zárate, West Ham

Having finished 13th in the league last season, West Ham will be looking to make a break into the top half of the table this season. In order to do so, Sam Allardyce has brought in Zárate to deliver the goods. Mauro returned to his boyhood club Vélez Sarsfield last year, scoring 20 goals in 42 games for the Argentinian side, following previous spells with Lazio, Inter Milan and the essential experience of playing for Birmingham back in 2008.
