The Most Exciting Premier League Transfers Of The 2014/15 Season

Olympique Lyon's Gomis reacts after scoring against Olympique Marseille during their French Ligue 1 soccer match in Lyon

Bafétimbi Gomis, Swansea

Swansea have always been smart with their signings. After the sacking of Michael Laudrup last season, Garry Monk stepped in as interim player-manager for the rest of season. However, he decided to end his playing career with the club in light of becoming the permanent boss, and one of his key appointments is Gomis from Lyon. The striker spent three years at the French side following six years at Saint-Étienne, which certainly shows his loyalty. Also, he has reached the 20-goal mark for his past three seasons.
