Ander Herrera, Man Utd
After coming seventh in the league and missing out on European competitions, you’d expect Man Utd to dive straight into the transfer market and adjust their system. However, aside from bringing Shaw into the defence, the only other key player they’ve purchased is Herrera from Athletic Bilbao, who plays as a deep midfielder and will look to play the role of Scholes. Ander isn’t currently in the Spanish side, but still looks strong under the reign of Van Gaal, who takes over from Giggs after a successful World Cup with Netherlands.
