The NFL Announces 2013 All-Pro’s

peyton16

Now that the NFL playoffs are set to get underway this weekend, the league has officially announced this year’s list for its All-Pro teams. If you’re unfamiliar the NFL’s prcess in deciding selections, we will fill you in real quick. The voting is done by 50 AP writers and covers all the positions in the NFL. Many value the All-Pro selection more than the Pro Bowl; because in the Pro Bowl, fans are allowed to vote and can just select their favorite player without really knowing too much.

With all that out of the way, the 50 AP writers did a pretty damn good job this year, with the major headline from the group being Peyton Manning earning an unanimous choice. He did break the record for Touchdown passes in one season and all. Saints TE, Jimmy Graham came just one vote shy of Peyton for an unanimous choice and LeSean McCoy just two votes.

A very strange fact about this years All-Pro selections was teams with the most selections being Kansas City, San Francisco and Cleveland. Yes, the Cleveland Browns had five players that were selected this year. Maybe their coach was the problem all along.
