Andrew Bynum made his debut in an Indiana Pacers uniform tonight against the Boston Celtics and all eyes were on him. Making his presence known on the court, the big man grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 8 points in 16 minutes off the bench.
Although David West’s strong performance was what ultimately gave the Pacers the 94-83 win against a struggling Celts squad, things might be looking up for Indiana. At the least, this win snaps their season high 4-game losing streak they’ve been on. Bynum said he felt great to finally play out there and with him still trying to get into their rhythm, once he does, it might make things interesting come playoff time.
The Pacers continue to lead the Miami Heat by one and a half games in the Eastern Conference, but they need to get it together if they plan on keeping that lead.
