We’re not talking about practice.
We’ve been hype for this documentary ever since it was announced that it was playing at the Tribeca Film Festival this year, but it is guaranteed that after watching the trailer for it, the levels have exponentially increased.
The clip is only one minute, but it shows commentary from the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Tom Brokaw (wait, what?) and Dwyane Wade to get their take on Allen Iverson. Larry Brown’s quote was classic, saying “as a coach, dealing with him on a daily basis, nobody trained you for that.” By the end, the trailer made it clear that it will be focusing on AI’s life as well, showing his upbringing in Virginia and why that shaped him to be the player that he was. This one is going to be a must watch.
IVERSON will debut on April 27 at the Tribeca Film Festival.
